Papaya and Pineapple are wonderful fruits to eat when you are not pregnant. In Asian countries, there is a belief that Eating Papaya and Pineapple During Early Pregnancy cause abortion. Eating papaya considered as an emergency contraceptive and this have the capacity to act as an abortifacient.

Consuming the unripe papaya in pregnancy can cause pre-mature induction of labour. In early pregnancy this cause abortion or abnormalities in the baby. You do not need to avoid those “fully” ripe papaya as it contains loads of vitamins specially vitamin A and significantly less latex.
Eating Pineapple During Early Pregnancy ?
According to health experts, women should don’t take Pineapple first 3 months of pregnancy. The reason is that Eating pineapples induce miscarriage. Pineapple contain bromelain which is exactly the same as papain in those unripe or semi ripe papaya. This substance bromelian makes the cervix soft and finally leads miscarriage.
Drink too much pineapple juice cause uterine contraction and cause abortion or premature labour. After the first trimester, healthy pregnant women can eat moderate amount of pineapple as it is a delicious fruit rich in many vitamins and nutrients.
